Dr Ren Yi has been a scientist in A*STAR’s Institute of Materials Research and Engineering for 7 years. He is passionate about teaching and research in knowledge and technologies that have a positive impact to our daily life. His main expertise is material synthesis, analysis and characterisation. Ren Yi’s recent research efforts focus on the development of functional devices and sensing technologies for environment and health applications. He has helped industry partners with many improved processes and products; and guided award-winning local and international Junior College and undergraduate student projects.
